The capital city of Turkey will host the 2021 edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship, featuring six of the leading clubs in the world. Located in the central part of Anatolia, Ankara is Turkey's second largest city after Istanbul. Ankara has a long and rich history and is home to over five million inhabitants.
Host City
Ankara follows on from Shaoxing, China which hosted the Women's Club World Championship in 2018 and 2019. It will be the first time Turkey hosts the competition after previous editions in Sao Paolo, Brazil (1991 and 1993), Jesi, Italy (1992), Doha, Qatar (2010, 2011, 2012), Zurich, Switzerland (2013, 2014, 2015), Manila, Philippines (2016) and Kobe, Japan (2017).
