The top scorer of the VNL in 2018 and 2019, 26-year-old opposite Malwina Smarzek was included in the list and could return to the Polish national team for the first time since the 2021 edition of the tournament.
Poland will start their VNL campaign in 2023 in Antalya, Türkiye, where they will play against Canada, Italy, Thailand and Serbia from May 30-June 4.
“The plan for the VNL is to have the core of the team involved during all three pools in the preliminary phase,” Lavarini added. “But we’ll also make some changes in the squad from one week to another so we can give everyone an opportunity to compete at the highest level and also us a chance to watch them in action.”
