For a second day in a row, Magdalena Stysiak, Poland’s promising opposite, raised five kill blocks against the opponents and delivered the match highs towards her team’s victories in Pool C of the women’s FIVB Road to Paris Volleyball Qualifiers. After leading the home team to a straight-set win over Slovenia with 18 points on Saturday, the 23-year-old striker hammered another 22 towards Sunday’s 3-1 (25-22, 24-26, 25-21, 25-9) success against Korea.
Germany, United States and Italy also achieved their second victories in Lodz on Sunday.
